This book is a good read and would be excellent for individuals seeking further knowledge on the topic but Lost Mountain was published inten years ago, and a lot of has changed since. The coal industry can change very quickly but this book still shows a very important view of Appalachia and the consequences of radical strip by: This book should be "required reading" for school children.
